Macy’s is on a collaboration roll! After just launching the MADE Fashion Week for Impulse and Marilyn Monroe collections, now the brand is looking to the Condé Nast glossy, Teen Vogue.
Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that Macy’s latest line was a collaborative effort with the magazine’s editors that launches today at Mstylelab. The pieces are all fashion-forward: bold prints, bright colors, and quirky accents with 15 new pieces will be added to the line every month. For March, there will be lots of neon, sheer, bejeweled, denim dressing, and vests to be had by all.
For Amy Astley, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, the collaboration was a step towards building the brand further. “We have terrific success with our branded mobile game, Teen Vogue Me Girl, and with our bedding, so apparel was the next logical step,” she said.
Teen Vogue isn’t the first glossy with a clothing collection, Elle has sold clothing in Kohl’s stores since 2007, and cosmetics since 2012. The collection is available at 150 Macy’s stores and Macys.com for $20 – $60.
